Musings from a Thankful Heart. Saturday, June 28, 2008. Of Lawns, Father-in-laws and roses. Thankfuls for this week:. Our lawn is nicely mowed again. Thanks to me. I am still amazed that at this stage of my life I have added lawnmowing to my current activities. My Father-in-law once again is home from the hospital. And, still cheerfully planning on leaving on his long planned trip around the country with hubby. And I am thankful that his speech is becoming a little bit clearer. Thursday, June 26, 2008.

Musings from a Thankful Heart. Saturday, November 22, 2008. Some of the things on my list for this year:. Two trips north to visit my mother. Enjoying special family time during the visit in March. And protection during a lovely snow storm. I do not like to drive in snow, and I had the fun to not only drive in snow, but to do it in a rental car that I was unfamiliar with. But, PTL, He protected. Having my son successfully complete his police academy training. The joy of doing things with my daughter.
