Snack and Special Schedule. I am asking that you send in a snack with your child at the beginning of each month, enough for the whole class. We will have snack everyday and the children are given their choice. Individually wrapped snacks work the best, but any and all or appreciated! Monday: Gym 9:20-10:00 Tuesday: Computers 10:00-10:40 Wednesday: Health 12:20-1:00. Thursday: Music 10:00-10:40 Friday: Gym 1:05-1:45. Please pack gym shoes on Mondays and Fridays! Christmas Around the World. I hope that this blog works this time for everyone! Please forgive me as I am still trying to work out the kinks in my new form of technology :)! This year 1st Grade will be learning about "Holiday Traditions Around the World." We have been spending a LOT of time this week beginning our fun-filled unit! By doing so, we will be replacing our Christmas Party with these 2 weeks of fun filled learning! Be sure to ask your child each day about the special events that take place!

Our classroom is very unique and different! We have what is called a desk less classroom; there are NO desks or traditional tables in it! I have brought in other fun furniture of sorts for the children to use. This gives the classroom more of a comfortable feeling and allows for student choice. There are stools, rugs, and even a couch to sit on. Students are not assigned to a spot, and can choose to work where and how they learn the best! Create a free website.
