The Shipps' Log: Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch
http://theshipps.blogspot.com/2011/10/flower-mound-pumpkin-patch.html
He said to them 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm." Mt. 8:26. Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. We created a Texas tradition -the second annual pumpkin patch visit with the Myers. This year was much hotter (we tried to pretend by wearing pants, but regretted it, I think. So humid! And more crowded. But, it was still great to go on a fall outing. And the kettle corn was as good as ever. Happiness in a bag :).

New Mercies Every Morning: July 2015
http://megancmyers.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
New Mercies Every Morning. Grateful for the unchanging, steadfast and faithfulness of my Savior. Made 3 separate trips to the BMV today. No, that's not a typo. 3 round trips to the local BMV. All in the quest of being a resident of this great state of Indiana. And this is what I walked away with as my photo identification:. Is there some sort of scheme to purposefully make you look drugged or hungover or ridiculous? Deciding to take a new job in Indiana and begin packing up our home. People Who Like Me.

New Mercies Every Morning: Just for the laughs
http://megancmyers.blogspot.com/2015/08/just-for-laughs.html
New Mercies Every Morning. Grateful for the unchanging, steadfast and faithfulness of my Savior. Just for the laughs. Our middle child is, what you might say, a total hot mess. He says the most outlandish things in the sincerest way possible that makes you question if he's "o-k". Gosh is he cute. He says things like this:. On a nature hike:. G: Well, a butterfly becomes a caterpillar and then the caterpillar becomes an ACORN. B: When I grow up, I want to be a musician. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

New Mercies Every Morning: August 2014
http://megancmyers.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
New Mercies Every Morning. Grateful for the unchanging, steadfast and faithfulness of my Savior. We were in Michigan last month on a family vacation. We decided to be those "super fun parents who let their kids skip their naps" and take our boys out for ice cream instead. This video. This boy. Cracks me up every single time I watch this. Did I really just post this on Facebook? How in the heck did we get here so quickly? Wasn't he just born like, I dunno, yesterday? Not so gentle reminder. Nonnappingchil...

New Mercies Every Morning: First Day
http://megancmyers.blogspot.com/2015/08/first-day.html
New Mercies Every Morning. Grateful for the unchanging, steadfast and faithfulness of my Savior. Kindergarten is in full swing around here. Can we simply pause for a moment and weep for that thought? And it's entirely up to you what you want to weep about when it comes to Kindergarten. I know I change from day to day. We are adjusting well. Bennett loves it. He seriously was THE cutest little kindergartner there ever was. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Andrew and Alaina Falk. Rodney and Katie Harms.

Just Passing Through...: self medicating and perspective
http://jennifer-mayesindygirl.blogspot.com/2015/05/self-medicating-and-perspective.html
Friday, May 01, 2015. Self medicating and perspective. It has been kind of a rough couple weeks. Well, using the word rough is a stretch. I think the people in Nepal could say they. Had a rough week. Perspective. It started as PMS and then just didn't really go away. Emotions and feelings are so annoying. I don't really have a conclusion to this, but this is where I am at. Taken from the chapter "On Crying in the Bathroom" (which that whole chapter perfectly sums up my feelings). From the book Bitter...

Just Passing Through...: February 2014
http://jennifer-mayesindygirl.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 13, 2014. IF: Gathering: Jesus is better. Sometime last summer Jen Hatmaker posted about a conference several of them were dreaming of, something different in Austin. There really wasn't much more info than that. But I forwarded it to some local friends and we decided we had to go to it. The day the tickets went on sale, 1200 tickets sold out in less than 45 minutes. Was this past weekend in Austin. People would ask me, "what are you going to? Here is a great article. Of this conferenc...

Just Passing Through...: April 2015
http://jennifer-mayesindygirl.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 01, 2015. Holy week is this week, and I feel kind of numb to it all for some reason. It is like I am trying to make myself feel more holy than I really feel just because of the week. While I am thankful for my upbringing that is deeply rooted in Christ, the down side of that is that Jesus' death is kind of no big deal most days. I know. Kind of like Peter. Kind of like me. Then life reminds you how fleeting and precious it is. This song has been on repeat for me the last few weeks. I am ...

New Mercies Every Morning: November 2014
http://megancmyers.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
New Mercies Every Morning. Grateful for the unchanging, steadfast and faithfulness of my Savior. Dawn of a New Era. A certain little boy in our home has loved (and by loved I mean obsessed) fire trucks/engines for over 2 years. Which is a long time, seeing as he's only 4 1/2 years old. But I sense change is a'comin. Call it "mother's intuition" but in the last month, he has requested his father to draw these type of pictures during the sermon rather fire trucks. I'll give you a hint: it wasn't a red shirt.
