The Winter Concert at the boys' school this year was for K-2nd grade, which meant that Brock got to perform with his classmates. They had practiced during music class and he even sang some at home. :). There was a rehearsal during the day and then the evening performance. As the school year ended, I asked each one of the kids to make a list of things they would like to do over the summer. It could be a place to visit, game to play, play dates, etc. They came up with some pretty long lists! So on the list. Pool time at the house! The best part is it is free and I get to work on my tan! Fish, sharks, hands in water tanks fun.

A look at our day-to-day life, outings, and many memorable moments! Thursday, June 26, 2014. We have found a new favorite place! Coeur d'Alene, Idaho! Oh my word this place is beautiful! It is a 6 hour drive from our place to there. We drive East along the Washington and Oregon border. We then cross into Washington and drive NE until you head East into Coeur d'Alene. It sits on the lake and is a great little resort town. This was a much needed break after ending school, baseball, wedding projects, etc.

Brad was working on his car which decided to give him trouble on Friday and my birthday fell on Sunday. He had to try and fix the problems so it could be operational for Monday and getting to work. I understood, still just stinks it happened over my birthday weekend. And these were not just any tickets, they were 7th row tickets! It was such a great show!

We had Dominic and Isabella over too for the day and to go trick or treating. Brylee had a class party that I got to attend. They sang songs and danced. They also decorated a yummy sugar cookie! Decorations around the house. All the kids in costume! And I amazed and surprised everyone by dressing as a scarecrow and painting my face to look the part.

Long ago, when we found out Dave Matthews Band was coming to Bend, Oregon, we bought tickets. We made plans with my parents to rent a house in Eagle Crest and stay for 5 nights so we could go see the show. The time could not come fast enough, we were so excited about the show! Our digs for the few days. :). I'll get your picture while your bike riding! A little rocket action one afternoon!
