Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Only 3 days left! I'd love to hear back from some public school teachers.how much time do you get after school ends to get grades done, clean up, etc. At my school, we are on contract for a week after school gets out and then again two weeks before school begins to set up the classroom. Do you get much less time? Today, I'm linking up with A Cupcake for the Teacher for their linky on summer bucket lists. Here's some things on my list for this summer: :). Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Tried it Tuesday: Frosting Color Wheel. A few years ago, I had a good friend of mine volunteer to teach art to my kiddos every Friday.yep, EVERY Friday :) She planned everything and got her own materials. So here it is.the frosting color wheel! This idea didn't come from me, or even my friend originally. After some browsing, I think this is the original. Check it out for more detailed directions. I gave each student a good size blog of all three primary colors on their plate ...

Teaching With Class: Making Grammar Fun
http://teaching-with-class.blogspot.com/2015/08/making-grammar-fun.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. When I started teaching, I looked for ways to make grammar fun for students. Teaching With Class: My Classroom
http://teaching-with-class.blogspot.com/p/my-classroom.html
See original post here. This is the best picture that shows the size of my little classroom. I am standing at the doorway - the reading corner is to the right. Fortunately, I only had 10 kids (now 11). I really could fit only a max of 12. We bump into each other a lot trying to get from place to place, but otherwise it has worked out okay. First bulletin board of the year. Thank goodness for the Cricut. Would hate to have cut out all those flowers without it. May 3, 2013 at 5:52 PM. May 3, 2013 at 7:12 PM.
