A Chronicle of our Chaos
Mrs. Troop: October 2014
http://mrstroop.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
A Chronicle of our Chaos. Fall Festival Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. Thursday, October 9, 2014. Looking for the Thankful. What a week. So much sad news. So many scary things going on in our world. A good week to practice thankfulness. Sometimes you have to look hard for the good. I usually find it's right there - underneath my bad attitude and pity party. A list of thankful. Besides, I needed to take a break from Netflix. 1 No fever so far, today. For my girlie or for me. Because you see, Little Man has...
Mrs. Troop: September 2014
http://mrstroop.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A Chronicle of our Chaos. Fall Festival Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Volleyball season is in full swing and the nights of both volleyball and football (which aren't quite as bad as the nights we have the first and last of 5 volleyball games. . .) are keeping us tired. Monday, Son #3 got his drivers license. So grateful. Even though the online appointment attempt was a total FAIL (after a month of trying) and we had to get there at 5:20 and stand in line until 7 to ...I nee...
Mrs. Troop: April 2014
http://mrstroop.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
A Chronicle of our Chaos. Fall Festival Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Late night ramblings. . . Sometimes, a friend sees your name and address on the gas company repair schedule and takes the time to do everything they can to move it up from Monday to Friday. Bless him. I think I will make him some cookies. Sometimes, the Coach snores and I love him, anyway. Sometimes, the sound of my hammering away on the keyboard wakes my Little Man and he comes stumbling in, all bleary eyed, ...
Mrs. Troop: January 2015
http://mrstroop.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
A Chronicle of our Chaos. Fall Festival Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. Friday, January 23, 2015. Seasons come and go. They change, not always when you want them to. Some of them are welcome, some knock the wind out of you. But one thing is for sure. change is coming. It's been a new experience having the Coach back in the stands with me, again, after a two season stretch coaching the high school girls. He coaches whether he's coaching or not. If you know what I mean. Ha! After a month of so much sickness ...
Mrs. Troop: Farewell, Summer.
http://mrstroop.blogspot.com/2015/08/farewell-summer.html
A Chronicle of our Chaos. Fall Festival Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. It's a quiet, cloudy day at the troops. I'm grateful. We are organizing school supplies, trying on clothes, making lists, and cleaning out the "school lunch" part of the pantry. I'm ready and I'm not. But on the other hand, we've had a sweet, wonderful Summer filled with so many precious moments. We enjoyed Son's (#1) speaking at his Impact 360 commissioning. A 6th grade graduation and a senior graduati...Lots ...

The Magnolia Blossom Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree! Friday, September 2, 2011. Tonight our Lord, we are gathered as members of the Bulldog Nation and we thank You for the blessings of being a Bulldog. Tonight we thank you for Aaron Murray, a fine young man who did not charge us $180,000 to play quarterback. Tonight we thank you that Mrs. Gathers and Mrs. Jenkins allowed their sons to discover biscuits and pound cake at an early age so that we might have a nose guard for the 3-4 defense. Magnolia Mama: September 2010
http://janalspringer.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Magnolia Blossom Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree! Wednesday, September 22, 2010. My most favorite time of year is here! I absolutely love the crispness in the air, the leaves changing and falling from the trees, and of course FOOTBALL! I also love that fall also brings comfort foods. I made one of my favorite fall desserts last night.Warm Southern Apple Crisp. Needless-to-say, the family was most grateful. 3 pounds tart apples. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed. Butter a 9-i...

Moving from a rural Idaho farming community to the Suburban East Coast, this is a blog of our family's adventures as we explore the Carolina's over the next few years. Thursday, January 27, 2011. These Pictures are for my mom who wanted to see what our new trees look like. Thursday, March 22, 2012. We had somewhat of an extended break. We spent the first week at the lake house (with a little homework in tow). Here are some pictures of our time at the beach. Our next outing was to the roller skating rink with some of our homeschooling buddies. It was a blast! We also took a trip out to the Children's Museum in Seminole. It is a fun place with lots of hands on activities for the little girls. It was such a fun time. I love spending time with my girls! Sunday, March 4, 2012.

Magnolia Mama: September 2011
http://janalspringer.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The Magnolia Blossom Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree! Tuesday, September 20, 2011. It's That Time Of The Year Again! I absolutely love this time of the year. The air is beginning to have that crispness that only the fall can bring. And with that cool crispness brings all kinds of comfort foods. One of my favorites happens to be soup. We LOVE soup at my house. I always try to make enough so that I can store the leftovers in the fridge for another cool day. 2/3 cup all-purpose flour. 4 green onions, chopped.
Squirly Girls: February 2012
http://squirlygirls.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 16, 2012. My last post was November 15, 2010. Ok, the "I'm busy" excuse will SO not work this time. I am busy, but not that busy:). Since it has been a while, I should update you on the girls, but I'll save that for future posts. For today, I'll keep it short and share a funny Aylee story (who is now 5! Or as she would tell you 5 and 1/2). My recent conversation with her:. A: "Mom, I know how to speak Spanish! A: "Same old, same old, what's up with you? Aylee keeps us laughing! Waterma...
Squirly Girls: July 2010
http://squirlygirls.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 30, 2010. Want to see my new cook top? Before this, we had a glass cook top. While it was beautiful, it was not functional. First of all it sits just under the microwave so things were always dropping out and landing on the glass. Second, I was constantly worried about my little ones reaching up and puting their hands on the glass thinking it was the counter. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. I got the butcher paper from Sams and it is does not cost much. They think this is their "school". This is our...

Mrs. Troop
A Chronicle of our Chaos. Fall Festival Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. Friday, December 1, 2017. Last night I went to the Michael W. Smith Christmas concert, also featuring Jordan Smith (recent winner of "The Voice"). The music was heavenly, the singing that of angels, and the company of sweet friends made it even more of a treasure. But the deeper joy that comes when you realize that no matter what happens, peace and joy can still fill your heart. On my one side? On the other side? Another precious frien...

The World According to Mr Stroppybastard
The World According to Mr Stroppybastard. Monday, 23 April 2007. Teachers have decided that they do not wish to let children know of the Holocaust for fear of offending Muslim Pupils. So rather than be offended they should be pleased to know that they managed to escape what can only be described as the most foul atrocities of the last century. If that is not racist in the extreme then what is? What about the families of all those who perished? Are they not allowed to be offended? Links to this post.
