http://scrappingwest.blogspot.com/2014/11/christmas-card.html
A paper crafter's direction. Wednesday, November 12, 2014. I used another one of my new Stampin' Up! Stamp sets, Holiday Home. I also tried out a few new techniques. I've always been inspired by Kristina of KWernerdesign.com. I used my distress markers to create the background on the Ranger watercolor paper. I also tried my hand at some Copic coloring. A paper crafter's direction. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. School Thank You Cards. I used the white distress marker to make the lines on the road. It worked really nice for this project. (Not sure how I feel about those yet. I bought a two pack (black/white) from HL and only the brush tips work on them. I returned them for a second package and the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem? If you have any questions, please let me know! Martha stewart custom stamp setting kit. Wednesday, April 17, 2013.

A paper crafter's direction. Saturday, November 24, 2012. I know it's been forever since I have posted and I don't want to bore you with all the excuses as to why I haven't blogged in a few months, so. My sister welcomed her second child into the world in October. She is a precious baby girl and we are all enjoying every bit of her! I hosted a baby shower for my sister back in August (the weekend before school started! I know I'm crazy! Here are some pictures from that! Owl themed baby shower.

A paper crafter's direction. Monday, June 23, 2014. My First Monday Made It. So if you aren't familiar with Monday Made It, you should visit Tara at 4th Grade Frolics. I've browsed other's Monday Made It projects for a couple of years, but this is my first tine to actually participate. Then came the paint! When all the paint layers were dry, I used a fine paintbrush and black paint to draw the outline lines. I also used a white paint pen to add the "highlight details." I added the wire, bow, and ...I can...

I wanted to share a thank you card that I put together for my baby shower gifts. I made two versions of this card, a green and a blue, but I used up all the cards before I realized that I hadn't taken a picture for my blog! This is all I had left. scrappingwest: Birthday Card Swaps
http://scrappingwest.blogspot.com/2014/07/birthday-card-swaps.html
A paper crafter's direction. Friday, July 18, 2014. I was browsing Splitcoast Stampers the other day looking for a bit of inspiration. I haven't pulled out my Crazy for Cupcakes Stampin' Up! Set in quite some time, so I decided it would make a perfect swap card. I found several cards that were lovely, but this one caught my eye. I, however, did not want to hand cut all of the images so I decided to use this lovely invention to help me out! Well, I'm falling in LOVE with my Silhouette even more! After all...

http://scrappingwest.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
A paper crafter's direction. Monday, March 31, 2014. This has been a busy 2014 for me so far. I finally got some inspiration for my Easter card swaps. I wanted to do a "peeps" theme. I got onto the silhouette store and found some cuts that would work! I cut out the bunny silhouettes in three colors to resemble the Easter peeps candy! I found a Jillibean label in the silhouette online store for the sentiment and used the print and cut feature. That machine is awesome! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

scrappingwest: February 2014
http://scrappingwest.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
A paper crafter's direction. Monday, February 24, 2014. There were four cards in each set. Each card had a different sentiment. I thought about doing a similar style and then changing the sentiments to the cards would "match" but I wanted to do so many different techniques and use different stamp sets that I decided to make them all different. And here they are all stamped and ready to package up! Set that I love and could never get rid of. Thanks for looking! Labels: card gift sets. Subscribe to: Posts ...
