Monday, Monday, Monday! I did it. I got my Dream Job - and I start on Monday! After being unemployed for 3 months and 8 days, I will be the Product Manager for a start-up in San Francisco. I get to manage product launches from square one to final delivery. I'm going to get to manage processes, people, and Excel spreadsheets! Did I mention this is my DREAM JOB? Well, we're pretty sure we've settled on the place we're moving into. It's on the corner of Duboce and Church.across from Out of the Closet and Safeway in the Castro. The N stops right outside the front door, and there is NO street noise in the apartment, but a view of Twin Peaks from our bedroom! I have waited for so long to move back to the city, back to my home in the Castro.the world is seeming right again! I'm less than 3 weeks away (yikes - time to get packing! I can't wait for May 2!

I have an extremely liberal friend (some might consider him of the bleeding-heart variety) who is committed to stop smoking. His own health hasn't been enough of a motivation for him to do this. Today, he made this proclomation:. Next cigarette I smoke I'm giving $100 to the Heritage Foundation, a right-wing think-tank. And tank is a decent metaphor, though I might have gone with burning bag of turd. This does not apply to anything alcoholic. But it does apply to EVERYTHING else. Sorghum or sorghum syrup.

Partway through he had hives and a swelling reaction. My mom had a terrifying run through the halls yelling for a doctor. I can't even imagine. If you give a mouse a cookie. Mar 31st, 2006 11:29 am. At the office, finally online here! My sister who lives down in Philly is in town for my psycho sister's art showing. She is staying with that sister, which makes sense, I guess, cuz it's her time to shine with her show. They even penciled me in for a few hours. We planned to get a bagel, show them my home and office, and hang out. So what happens? They show up an hour late and then reveal they have to leave in 40 minutes. 2006-03-31 06:17 pm (UTC).
