So while I was busy breaking my leg, it meant I didnt pay tribute properly to the brilliant Douglas Adams. But then again, unlikely I would have carried a towel around all day. This year I just decided to wrap one around my left foot semi-permanently instead! In fact, not having grown up in the UK or knowing about western literary work, I had no idea of who Doug Adams was until a couple of years after his death!

Feels like I did a number of things yesterday, the whole day conference, the formal dinner, the drinks afterward, then even managed to get some work emails done last night.AND still managed to go to bed sooner than my normal hours! Monday, February 28, 2011. Mini Dessert Bar, Temple Beth El - Casino Royale/Parent Mixer. My grandson Noah's (the little guy above) school, Temple Beth El was having their Casino Royale/Parent Mixer that included food, casino tables, black jack, craps, roulette and a silent auction. This fundraiser was a fun way of donating my mini dessert table and I enjoyed it! Noah's parents were in attendance (pictured above) and my daughter, Andrea is my newest chocolate cake truffle spokesperson! We Will Rock You!
