We gave away a few, mostly for cooking. Then we kept the rest on the back stoop and stairs to get them out of the heat. The Multiple Sclerosis Companion. A diary from the Little Pond. Monday, June 23, 2014. This time it's not MS. After a sonogram, an upper GI endoscopy, and a perfectly lovely colonoscopy, the verdict is in. Gall bladder is distended (whatever THAT means). There are duodenal ulcers. There are also interior hemorrhoids. Well, at least they don't stick out. Now what to do? I will see the doctor again on Thursday. Maybe he can shed a clue. Because I have none. My last illness was apparently something that was going around the East Coast. Everyone I know got at least a touch of it, and it is still making the rounds. No idea whatsoever about my weight, cholesterol, bone density. All things will be revealed in the next five weeks, starting Friday. Did I mention that wine puts me right to sleep and beer gives me reflux and gas? Awesome Inc....

The Multiple Sclerosis Companion. A diary from the Little Pond. Monday, July 06, 2015. Well, we seem to have sorted out most of my physical troubles. But I still have MS and I still have reflux and pain in my duodenum (upper gut). It's six am and I have been awake since four. It's my own fault, because I ate hot dogs and macaroni and cheese.
