Friday, October 3, 2008. In this exercise we learned about Adjustment layers. Adjustment layers allow you to add adjustments to your image on separate layers instead of directly to the image itself. This comes in handy during long complicated projects. In Photoshop every tool is specifically designed to help improve your photo. However, here we took some artistic liberties and explored adjustments creatively. This picture is really creative and the photographer is pretty legit at taking pictures.

Thursday, September 11, 2008. Compositional Trick # 2: Leading Lines. Leading lines improves the focus of the picture. Leading lines is basically when there is a line that is leading to the Emphasis. There is no button for leading lines you just have to focus on an object that has leading lines into it. Macro has two different enhancements that it performs, one is Texture and the other is one is Depth of Field. Texture is basically getting up close to an object just enough to see the texture. Monday, April 13, 2009. Metering helps to balance out the lighting in an area when taking a picture, it is activated by pushing the shutter button half way down. When I metered off of the computer screen everything in its area went dark because it the camera used the computer's screen as you see in the in the first picture.
