Knit-A-While: My How I've Grown
http://knit-a-while.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-how-ive-grown.html

I commend the designers who tried to help those of us who are DPN "slow," but I wanted to knit items I could be proud of, that I could show off, that I could actually wear. "Why don't you just improve your seaming skills? I'm a big fan of both magic loop and 2 socks on 2 circs too. I do a lot of knitting on the go and it's a lot easier to keep your knitting on circs when you're c...

My adventures in cycling and knitting. Just another WordPress.com weblog. What the mailman brought me: Part I. I think I’m going to join a KAL that The Ravelry Book Group is going to start in December. We’ll be knitting the Branching Out scarf and I can’t wait to try out the sharp Harmony points on some lace work! Laquo; Cold weather is here. Date : November 23, 2008.

Knitting The Knotty Way. A not-so-appropriate adventure with fiber and other oddities from the life and times of a knitter! January 25, 2011. One Hundred Miles Per Hour. Somewhere in my brain is the desire for each and every blog post to be a deep and meaningful one-sided conversation in which I opine, and you come along for the ride. I have been knitting like a good little creature. I even have a finished something or other. Here’s today’s bit of genius. The Burberry Inspired Cowl. I do think it’s...

Knitting The Knotty Way. A not-so-appropriate adventure with fiber and other oddities from the life and times of a knitter! February 15, 2011. This morning, I decided it was pot roast day. I add salt, pepper, garlic and thyme, but it’s not hard. And between the searing and the oven your roast gets a beautiful crispy crust that is the perfect mate for some mashed potatoes. When it comes to gravy, cold water and flour… That’s it. So good, so tasty. Knitting content tomorrow kids. I promise. February 15th, ...

Knit-A-While: On Herman and Toilet Paper
http://knit-a-while.blogspot.com/2009/03/on-herman-and-toilet-paper.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. On Herman and Toilet Paper. This is Shubacoons Herman McMunster, one of my Maine Coons. He's a handsome boy and weighs about 23 pounds, and it's muscle. Everyone loves him- well, except for those who are somewhat intimidated by his size. And, by the way, most of those are men. He's regal. Hermie is also afraid of the moon. Well, at least the full moon. We were sitting on the bed one night, and when he saw the full moon, he got all agitated and hid his face in my armpit. I went t...

things I learned from tie dye | My Fuzzy Life
https://dixygirl.wordpress.com/2009/05/17/things-i-learned-from-tie-dye
One girl’s life with yarn, cats and a spinning wheel. Things I learned from tie dye. May 17, 2009. So ya know, it’s not like I’m trying to find time to knit and spin and hang with my friends AND work two jobs so what did I do? I went and bought a tie dye kit (ok technically it was a tye dye kit not tie dye but whatever lol) and some shirts. Second thing I learned was to always wear gloves. Even if it is 24 hrs later. Third thing I learned is that I needed to put more dye all over and less in one spot.
