Thursday, November 6, 2008. This week our second grade team set up a mock election for the students to participate in. We had a voting booth and poll workers in the hallway. Students submitted their votes by choosing the candidate for president on their ballot. Then they got their "I Voted" sticker. At the end of the day, the results of the second grade election were announced on the announcements. Barack Obama won 67-2! Pretty good prediction of the real results the next day!
