But good gravy, my body can’t handle physical labor like that, even to what I could manage a year ago when we did the front landscaping. It’s really made us rethink the parking area in front and a dedicated fire pit area near the patio. We hurt for weeks. Then when we finally got the canopy up and the landscape lights put where we want them. The neighbor cat that has adopted us (dubbed Morton by the husband) approves.

Tuesday, December 22, 2009. I know it has been awhile since I have updated the blog. Working full time has been tough:) Eva is growing up so fast! She is talking up a storm and will repeat what we say. She has really been into Christmas - and will say Santa, presents, ornaments, candy cane, cookies, tree, etc. She wants to dress herself and will get very upset if we try to help her. She really does a good job:) She says "boots" and will put on her little pink boots and also loves to put on our shoes.

Sunday, August 16, 2009. This weekend we went to Big Splash - an indoor water park in French Lick with the Short family went with us and we had a great time! The rooms were really nice and spacious. Eva really liked the chair! The waterpark was great. Most everything was indoors, but the did have an outdoor area.
