My life on Crater Hill. Friday, April 26, 2013. Oh how I love all the first blooming flowers, the budding , trees, the birds. And the lack of snow of spring! We found that the robin who graced the edge of our porch last year. Returned this year and layed more blue eggs. A puppy in the pea patch. Enjoy the sunny day, friends! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My life on Crater Hill. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Field Trip to Easton. Today we made the trip to Easton for the Crayola Experience. We watched a deninstration of how the crayons are made. Here they are being labelled. Something that is ok to do to crayons). Sebastian designing a label for his crayon. The whole crazy clan. Well the crazy part of the clan anyway. They got to take coloring page pictures of themselves, then color them. Two things I learned today:. All in all I would say it was a nice day.

My life on Crater Hill. Friday, August 2, 2013. Baby Room and Baby Chicks. A little bit of our life this week. We now fit in with the other fine country folk out here in the sticks. Recently Grandma told the grandsons she was going to hatch silkie chickens for them. They started out with like 16 eggs. And ended up with 3 chicks each. A predator thinned our flock to 2. I told hubby if we have 2 chickens, we might as well get more and make it worth our while. He was at a job yesterday. Clothe bins; made.

And, yes, babies do grow faster and faster each one you have. And, no, it isn't right or fair. I always love to do a little comparison when it comes to looks and growth. Here are each of my 4 babies at 3 months. As you can see the girls win the chubby award. Being the fourth, she is loved on all. of. the. time. And very layed back, so far. But totally worth it!
