Thursday, January 24, 2008. We made our own snow folks based on the book Snowballs by Lois Ehlert! They turned out really cute! Snowgirl" by O.M. and "snowpuppy" by M.C.). Happy Birthday A.A. Milne. We celebrated the author A.A. Milne's birthday by having a Winnie the Pooh day! All of the preschool kids brought an old bear (or favorite animal) from home. We read books written by A.A. Monday, August 25, 2008. First Day of School. Well here it is. I can not believe school is starting again! This is Carson's last year in elementary school and I have to say it is a little sad. He is really turning into Mr. Too Cool. He barely let me take this picture though! I finally loaded my pics on my computer and so I thought I would post some of Trav's Alaska pictures. I am so greatful to have photo savy sisters and sister-in-laws because the pictures they take are pretty much the ONLY pictures I have of my kids. Ms Nicole's Classroom News. Our Week in Review. This week we will continue the unit We Live in Mandeville. We are creating a community helpers booklet and visiting the fire station located on Gerard St. in Mandeville. Please talk to your child about fire safety. We will be learning about dialing 911 in an emergency and how to stop, drop and roll. Community helpers play a major role in our city. The class will be discussing police officers, p. Ark rangers and health care workers as well as fire fighters.
