We had hoped to get away during the boys summer school and fall term break, but John had to work. It was probably best, because we went to Palm Springs (La Quinta), which of course is the desert, and it was hot. The pools were lots of fun, and we all enjoyed the down time. Obviously things haven't been too bad since I haven't been venting my frustrations here. Three months- wow! Physical therapy hasn't been helping much and so it appears I will be getting cortisone shots in my hips. No, they aren't fun and I'm not going to describe the process since it makes me cringe. I have to say this morning has been quite nice even though it is grey and rainy. I have a single yellow crocus poking it's head up by the back patio and on my way to Brigham City this morning I passed 6 deer in the fields and a cowboy on horseback checking his fences. Your trip makes me very envious. I want OUT of this winter. I bet you all love it.

I am first on the list, so I will be at the hospital before the sun comes up. I am thankful that I will be awake for the procedure. I was not real happy about being put under.
