Tequila, Tutus and Tantrums: Thunderstorms and Gentle Rain.....
http://tequilatutusandtantrums.blogspot.com/2011/05/thunderstorms-and-gentle-rain.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Thunderstorms and Gentle Rain. Maggie lost her first tooth last week. Cooper helped pull it which was so exciting for him! Todd is the expert tooth puller in the Mayes household. I sit back and cheer everyone on! Each game, as Cooper #8 (Carter’s old number), stands at the plate to bat, I fight to hold back the tears. I find myself gripping my stomach as the physical pain is so intense I am scared I might get sick. I struggle to maintain normalcy. Carter should be...Hi, my friend!

Half-Past Kissin' Time: Another Little Slice of Americana
http://www.halfpastkissintime.com/2015/07/another-little-slice-of-americana.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Another Little Slice of Americana. Mr4444 and I spent July 4th (Steve's 3rd birthday, incidentally) in a tiny little village in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Eagle Harbor, visiting family. Wikipedia lists Eagle Township as having 281 residents, and Mr.4444 and I were surprised that it appears to be a popular place in the summer! We missed the parade that morning (forgot about the hour difference in time zones), but there was plenty going on when we arrived. I have no idea who won,.

Half-Past Kissin' Time: Archives by Topic
http://www.halfpastkissintime.com/p/archives-by-topic.html
I decided that it would be cool to have an archive by Topic, rather than by date. I've pulled posts from all the way back. Some posts, though popular when originally posted, lost their comments when I shifted from Blogger to Haloscan and back. But I know you'll love them anyway :) [P.S. I've audiorecorded a handful of these posts. To find them, scroll down the sidebar on my main blog page.]. Gifts from My Father,. Gifts from My Father, Parting Gifts. The Gift That Keeps on Giving. Half-Past Kissin' Time: "Are Mom and Dad Santa?"
http://www.halfpastkissintime.com/2012/12/are-mom-and-dad-santa.html
Saturday, December 8, 2012. Are Mom and Dad Santa? I once shared a post called Christmas Revelations. About how I came to terms with finding out there was "no Santa" before I was ready to hear it. Sadly, in setting out to be a "good mom," I still managed to scar Kendall for life with her own revelations (See It's Never Too Late to Fake It. Recently, I stumbled upon a beautiful answer to the "Are Mom and Dad really Santa? I loved Martha's letter. What's your take on the Santa thing? I love this letter!

For I know the plans I have for you,' says the LORD. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'" Jeremiah 29:11. Monday, December 26, 2011. I can't believe my babies are 1 and 3! Chocolate cake with chocolate sour cream frosting. We let everyone decorate their own cake slices with marshmallows, chocolate chips, m and ms, and gummy bears. For I know the plans I have for you,' says the LORD. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'" Jeremiah 29:11. Saturday, August 8, 2009. Last Days of Summer. I go back to school next week (kids start the week after, though). Brie and I had a great summer overall. There were some major yucky times (broken toe, surgery, teething, house in disarray from the painting), but we had some wonderful times as well! Matt and Janina Schulz. Brie loved the sand! We went over to...
