World War 1 in 3D. Filming the World War 1 series in 3D was a challenge on many levels; firstly we had to shoot a four part 1-hour documentary series with mutable locations in Europe and the UK in 13 days! This would have been a challenging schedule for a regular 2D shoot but add the complications of filming in 3D then it really was going to be challenge. The following day our location moved to the Shuttleworth Aerodrome in Bedfordshire. Filming vintage WW1 planes and tanks! Line Producer Claire Budgen.

Tony Robinson’s D-Day to Victory charts the final days of the war by talking to surviving veterans and visiting key locations around Berlin and the UK.
