Statement of Philosophy of Education. Standard 11: Professional Conduct. Description of the Artifact. Both of my artifacts are about going to seminars. One of the seminars was at Lindon Oaks on self injury and addictions which I thought was very fascinating to learn about. The other seminar was going to a full day of sessions on various topics. I went to the sessions on strategy tools to work with students with autism and I learned a lot of different strategies for sensory integration.

Statement of Philosophy of Education. Description of the Artifact. I created my informal reading assessment for Jasiah by creating a check list. I was assessing on her identifying pictures by having her show me what she wants out of a field of three which I am focusing on, a book, play food, or a puzzle. Eventually, I want her to be able to use these pictures to tell the staff what she wants from them for leisure activity. I created this assessment for student teaching.

Statement of Philosophy of Education. Standard 6: Instructional Delivery. Description of the Artifact. My second artifact is another lesson idea that tests the team work of students. I feel that having team work opportunities in the classroom is highly important for students to learn. Students have to learn how to get along with each other. My future plans for both artifacts is that I expect to be able to use these materials again in a classroom. I have really enjoyed using these materials.

Statement of Philosophy of Education. Description of the Artifact. My Introduction letter was created during student teaching to let the students' parents have an idea of who I am. I wanted to let them know something about me and reassure them that I am working very hard on the students IEP and goals that need to be addressed.
