... To Where The Path May Lead

To Where The Path May Lead. The first post in 2012. How To Post A Comment. Thursday, January 03, 2013. Here's To A New Year! I promise that I won’t fill the page with silly resolutions. You know, those life-changing goals that sound great, but ones I will never keep (’cause it’s not in my nature). Rather I want to reflect upon and share with you what I’ve walked away with from 2012 and how those experiences promise to shape the coming year. So where’s the lesson you ask? To Where The Path May Lead. The first post in 2012. How To Post A Comment. Friday, July 06, 2012. I Get The Message! I started this 1,000-piece puzzle back in March while I was still undergoing chemo. I love the challenge of doing complex puzzles and this one was quite therapeutic. Unfortunately, it proved to be a bit too much even for me. I quit working on it when I got to the last three sections of trees. All the pieces looked the same and none of them seem to fit. I will, you know. I'm now down to the...

To Where The Path May Lead. The first post in 2012. How To Post A Comment. Saturday, March 03, 2012. Round Two of Chemo. I went in for my second round of Chemo yesterday afternoon. It took another five hours. Thanks to my good friend Gayla B., from work who "sacrificed" a half day of vacation to have lunch with me then keep me company, the time flew. Just for the record, we solved the problems of the world, the treatment went well, and I'm doing fine this morning. Our prayers are with the Cook family.

To Where The Path May Lead. The first post in 2012. How To Post A Comment. Monday, March 12, 2012. Good Bye, Sweet Candy. No, I'm not talking about chocolates, Candy was our very camera shy mini Doxie we rescued about five years ago from an abusive home along with our other mini Doxie, Moo. At the time we had two Boston Bulls and yes, although four dogs seemed like a lot, our home is large and the four small dogs had plenty of room play or hide. It turned out she had a badly damaged. We kept her in a clo...

Sam Harper: Dirty Little Secrets ~ Part I

http://samharpercrimescene.blogspot.com/2009/01/dirty-little-secrets.html

Friday, January 9, 2009. Dirty Little Secrets Part I. Eone Say, Murder? 8220;This way, Detective.”. Harper swept a glance around the foyer. Polished hardwood floors and thick Persian rugs ran the length of the vast open space. A massive staircase curved upward along the right side of the room near a wall flanked with multi-paned windows from the base of the staircase to the vaulted ceiling. Voices seeped into the hallway from behind a set of closed double doors situated to Harper’s immediate left. 8220;T...

Sam Harper: Joe Bright: The Black Garden

http://samharpercrimescene.blogspot.com/2009/04/suspect-joe-bright-case-of-black-garden.html

Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Joe Bright: The Black Garden. Case of THE BLACK GARDEN. The call came in five days ago about the incident at THE BLACK GARDEN. Word on the street was that a guy by the name of Joe Bright, had all the answers. I finally caught up with the suspect after spotting him entering The Smoke House on Lakeside drive. Too bad he couldn’t finish that prime rib, but getting the straight facts about this case was more pressing. 8220;So, what gives, Joe? What’s your story? But why this book?

Wednesday, February 25, 2009. The Devil Can Wait up for a vote. My last big case, THE DEVIL CAN WAIT, is going to be reviewed again and Stephens asked me to put out a BOLO for votes. We're grateful to the kind-hearted citizens out there who gave our efforts a thumbs up last fall. It won November 2008 cover of the month. Word came this week that it's now waiting for the big vote for 2008 Book Cover of the Year! Just scroll down until you see the cover and vote, okay? So can I count on your help? On the ot...

Sam Harper: An Unlikely Alliance - Part I

http://samharpercrimescene.blogspot.com/2009/03/unlikely-alliance.html

Saturday, March 14, 2009. An Unlikely Alliance - Part I. I scoured through the morning paper for what? Right I was starting to mumble under my breath a lot these days. For the past several weeks I knocked on the doors of countless law firms from Wall Street to Harlem and everyplace in between. The insurance companies who had paid for my skills in the past weren’t hiring either, and the banks? Must talk, noon, Augusts 19, at the Chester House. O. Kurtz. 8220;May I help you? 8221; The slender man behind th...

Sam Harper: An Unlikely Alliance - Part II

http://samharpercrimescene.blogspot.com/2009/03/unlikely-alliance-part-ii.html

Monday, March 16, 2009. An Unlikely Alliance - Part II. The instructions on Oliver Kurtz’s note underscored his demand for punctuality. I was to arrive at ten am on the dot at his home in the twelve hundred block of east South Street. How could a man who knew every sordid detail of my life not be aware that I’d never bow down to an edict? I arrived promptly at twelve after the hour noting how disgustingly out of place my scratched ten-year-old Chevy looked parked in front of the house at 1215 South.

Alright these are four corner pieces or caps that can be added to block off a section. There isn’t really any need for them because you can just blacken out exits but they add some irregularity to a large dungeon that is aesthetically pleasing and makes it harder for players to guess what is next.
