Failure May Come if. What will make you fail in a race, ride or event? Non-water fuel isn't sufficient or you cannot digest at rate demanded. Pace is beyond your Lactate Threshold (LT) for too long, you lock up. Lactate can come from any muscles undertrained or stressed causing failure everywhere!

It's gone to the dogs! Tuesday, September 7, 2010. It's finally over. Going into this weekend I didn't have really high hopes. I thought I'd give it a decent effort and see if I could break a top 20. I was feeling pretty decent last year and broke the top 30 a couple times, so a top 20 would be an improvement on that. The fields were as normal for this weekend, easily over 90 guys in each race. It's gone to the dogs! Monday, October 10, 2011. Dan ryan woods race. I warmed up on the trainer for about 15 minutes and then rode one lap around the course. The course was longer then I was used to. It had a nice steep tree covered climb, another climb, some technical stuff, two barrier sections, and a log jump. It's gone to the dogs! Wednesday, September 18, 2013. It doesn't look like I'll be moving to SRAM or Campy 11 speed if this shifter rebuild goes well. I just got my rebuild kit and will attempt to rebuild. If it's a success I'll be ordering three more kits for my other sets and hopefully this one will be good as new.
