Mission Trips - St. Mark's UCC

St Mark's has an active music ministry, led by Peter Pyles Sr., the director of music, and Timothy S. Brown the director of children's music who also serves as church accompanist. Dorothy Maize is the church organist. Pyles directs the Senior Choir, Senior Bell Choir and HIM singers. Brown directs the Praise Team, the Children/Youth Choir and Chime Choir. Retreats - St. Mark's UCC

Our youth group goes on at least one, sometimes two retreats to the Pocono Mountains every year. These fun filled retreats involve large group discussions, and bible lessons. Retreat activities also include small sided field trips, and scavenger hunts. They are a great time to have fun, and hang with out with other youth and adults.

Kid's Kamp - St. Mark's UCC

This year will be the 24th year of Kid's Kamp. It's time to draft the memo to the frogs to let them know Kid's Kamp is about to begin, to pack your bags and move to another pond for a week. And for those frogs that can't read, you never know, you might get a ride around the pond on a remote controlled boat.

Our youth group offers events and classes for all ages from grade school through college. This group participates in events from bowling, to service projects, crop walks, retreats and mission trips. Elementary Sunday School is similar to our youth sunday school. It is held after the church service in the elementary room, and is designed for kids from grades 1-5. On May 12, 1887, St. Mark's Reformed Church was formed and the Rev. Oscar P. Steckel received a call to be the congregation's first new pastor. During Steckel's five years as pastor, the first pipe organ, built by Miller Organ Company of Lebanon, was installed and a parsonage was built east of the chapel.
