Why We Do It. Many of us will personally experience financial hardship. People in need should not be left to fend for themselves. Mission 10 will help eliminate the feeling of helplessness created by an overwhelming financial crisis. Most people have a general desire to help others. We are called by God to do to others as we would have them do to us. We should love our neighbors as ourselves and good deeds should be done in love, not out of obligation.
