Chief Mountain ski ascent 11,700. Hard to imagine this is only 15-20 minutes from the house. View approaching the top after we took off our skis. This is from Squaw rd near mile marker 19 on CO-103. Check it out on Summit Post. View towards Rocky Mountain National Park and the Divide. You can see Idaho Springs in the middle right. This is Mt. Evans hiding behind the clouds.
