Thursday, July 14, 2011. Sometimes, I feel like playing catch up is the story of my life! I'm trying. So back tracking to May. The 222 was once again activated to serve a tour in Iraq. So Brennen's dad is heading back there for awhile, possibly only. Until January but probably for 1 year. We went up on the mountain to have a last BBQ and fishing before he left. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Call it what you want. You may call me a lazy parent with lousy entertainment.I call myself . brilliant! Is obsessed with buckin bulls. We took him to the rodeo on the 24th and he hasn't quit running around the house with a rope fastened tight against his body, wildly throwing himself all over the place, making ferocious sounds.all to imitate a bucking bull. Saturday, September 24, 2011. I thought I'd put some side by side pics of the boys to see how much they really look like each other. People are always commenting about them looking like each other. They either think they look a lot alike or absolutely nothing alike. Dav was definitely bigger than Dawson, at least up until this point. So here it is. Good times.I just smile and say, "He better learn to be tough! I hope this special bond they have right now will stay like this forever. He is a handful!

Saturday, January 21, 2012. Oh how the time flies.I can't believe he is already nine months! He is such a fun little guy and I'm so thankful he's ours! A few things about him at 9 months:. He still loves his brother! Even if he is dragging him around by his feet, carrying him and bouncing him the whole way, stealing toys from him, or whatever he is putting him through, he still loves him! He is a little bit of a mommy's boy! He is a PIG! He loves his food! He loves to clap when you say, "Yah Dawson!

Saturday, October 23, 2010. Yes, we're still here! So much as been going on the last 3 months, I haven't had time to update the blog. But I have logic reasons! Reason #1 - The week before school started I got a call to be a long-term sub for a teacher who was having some medical problems. It was supposed to be the first 6 weeks of school possibly longer depending on the circumstances. I scrambled to get things ready and am still scrambling to get the hang of things! It is 3rd grade which is a great grade!
