Wednesday, October 27, 2010. MTI Builds Fastest Corvette At Texas Mile. Sunday morning 10/24/2010, MTI Racing set a new Corvette Record at Texas Mile. Official speed was 216.2 mph. The record is for the Fastest Corvette of all time at the Texas Mile. On Saturday, new records were set during practice runs at 213 mph. They were countered by another Corvette, but then the next morning the MTI Racing Z06 blasted from zero to 1 mile at 216.2 2mph. Reese Cox of MTI Racing holds the N/A Corvette record at 206mph.
