The Belgrade Police Department hires through the Montana Law Enforcement Testing Consortium (MLETC). The MLETC administers a written and physical test in order to create a pool of qualified applicants for the position of entry-level peace officer. In order to test, all applicants will be required to have valid government issued identification, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certification, and be at least 18 years of age.
