DJ SnaKK Album Review: Drake – “Nothing Was The Same”. October 1, 2013. 8220;Nothing Was The Same…”. Doesn’t blow you away, but it’s prototypical rap, and by the time. There’s nothing wrong with Drake pursuing a Top 40 career. The only place I’ve ever taken issue with his choices has been what percentage of his songs were actual rap, and how many of them were just him singing. There’s nothing wrong with emotional rap. Kanye did it well on. As excellent blends of his lyrical and singing abilities.
