In June 2012 we took a much anticipated vacation to Colorado and Wyoming. We flew into Denver and drove to Mountain Meadow Cabins. In the Snowy Range, 38 miles west of Laramie, WY. At 10,200 feet in elevation, it took some acclimation to get used to the altitude! After arriving to 90 degree temps in Denver, we awoke the next morning to 22 degrees and a 40 mph wind in the Snowy Range mountains! Our next stop was Estes Park, CO where we stayed at the Silver Moon Inn. Rocky Mountain National Park.
