Nelson Lakes, New Zealand. Unique mountain lodge set in stunning alpine environment available for hire. One of the aims of the Mt Robert Foundation is to promote education in an alpine environment. As a result the hut are available for clubs, organisations and school groups as an education facility. Christie Hut and Robert Hut. Here’s what we can offer:. Sleeping for up to 60 people split between two huts in bunk beds. Comfortable lodge space capable of seating about 30 people for dining in each hut.

Thanks to Nick Moore for all his work in putting the application together. Membership fee increase 30th June. As of 30th June we will be increasing the one off joining fee from $500 to $680. The two lodges are situated in the second basin along the Mt Robert range surrounded by stunning views of tarns, tussock and spectacular mountain peaks. Robert Hut was built in the early 1950’s and Christie Hut in the 1960’s. Members: $15 adult, $10 child (still at school).
