After watching Braveheart 26 times in one sitting (minus pee breaks) I should have clued in. Oh, dopey me. Just thought I had a thing for men with long hair and face paint! Then there was my tendency to break into a jig at the first sign of fiddle music. Always thought it was the beer! And thinking back, I’ve always had a passion for corned beef and cabbage, pickled eggs and lamb chops.
