Sunday, April 26, 2009. Closing out the Semester. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been very busy trying to finish up the semester. Finally finished my Note on April 7th. I know that a "Note" doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but it was quite the undertaking! Ended up being about 32 pages with 202 footnotes. I was thrilled to finish it and finally get to start preparing for my FIVE FINALS (what was I thinking? If only I could fast forward to Friday! Neither of us could believe it! Are we spe...

life at our pond: End of the School Year Awards
http://lifeatourpond.blogspot.com/2014/01/end-of-school-year-awards.html
Friday, January 24, 2014. End of the School Year Awards. In fifth grade Rachel was awarded the "Citizenship Award" from her teacher, Mrs. Lake. Rachel had a lot of responbilities her teacher trusted her with and always had great behavior! At the end of the awards ceremony all the fifth graders sang a song to their parents, hearing it made me realize how mature Rachel is getting and that she was on her way to MIDDLE SCHOOL! Too Many Hafens: ADDIE IS HERE!!!
http://toomanyhafens.blogspot.com/2013/07/addie-is-here.html
Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Girl #2 finally made it here. We have been waiting for Addie Jane for quite a while and now we're just grateful that she made it here safe and sound. With very little trauma to me. I had been having contractions on and off for a couple of days, even some in the temple (yikes! I made a mistake and decided to have some IV drugs after the delivery that made me very light headed and sleepy, but other than that it was great! Before (obviously in between contractions). Jack (4 years ol...

It's a simple life, but a fabulous one. Thursday, November 10, 2011. Ruby and Gavin Meet the Alps. These posts are a chronological mess, but I'm procrastinating the postings of our trip to India because there are WAY too many photos to choose from! Before long it devolved into a sort of out of control photo-shoot/fairytale. We went to dinner in nearby Fussen, where I ate a whole lot of pork. And Max, Gavin, and Ruby ate a whole lot of ice cream. Gavin had an ice cream hangover the next morning. Ruby and ...
