Reasons to be Cheerful. Reasons to be Cheerful – Week 3. August 3, 2015. I actually started writing this post last Wednesday because I could feel myself getting in a right grump. It helped a lot and gave me the motivation to keep looking out for the things that made me smile through the rest of the week! So last Monday we tried out another recipe from the Hemsley and H. A 14km time trial start could be the whole reason that Alex Dowsett makes his debut with Movistar, being a strong contender for the first yellow jersey. Cobbles, mountains and the rest make for a tough course. A strong field of overall contenders is what makes the race, Froome, Quintana, Pinot, defending champion Nibali and Giro champion, Grand Tour double chaser, Alberto Contador.

Gran Canaria Mountain Loop — Le Sportif

LS48 / Gran Canaria Mountain Loop. 50 km in central Gran Canaria. Going for a ride in Gran Canaria without riding a mountain is going to be a very short ride indeed. The road network is ambitious, challenging and baffling. Extreme engineering is the norm. Obviously this makes for some stunning riding, and riding, as is the way of things, is by far the most enjoyable way to see the whole island. This ride starts in San Matteo and climbs to the highest road point of the island a Cruz de Tejeda. 46 / Mirebe...
