Sunday, November 18, 2012. In September 2012, Ella began taking piano lessons from our cute neighbor and oh, how she has loved it. She is already composing some of her own music, which is always a delight to listen to. ( I wish sarcasm was a font). Her first piano recital was quickly approaching, and because she was one of the newer students, she didn't have to chose such a challenging song. So her choice.Old McDonald had a farm. Friday, December 21, 2012. For the first time in 4 or 5 years, we finally made it out to the festival of trees. As in years previous, the place is chaotic with thousands of people attending to support the charity and kick off the beginning of their holiday season. What better way to do that than with over 2,000 trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses. I love that there was a tree commemorating one of the greatest Christmas stories ever. So many creative ideas. Sunday, February 19, 2012. The best sleepover EVER! Ella and Preston had their best friends sleepover the other night and I am pretty sure it was the best night of their lives so far. Elli and Bodi came over to play, eat treats, watch movies and crash on the living room floor. Bode was the first one out, poor little guy just couldn't handle the excitement. Preston followed around 11:00 pm and then Elli at 12:00 and Ella was the last to go. What a terrible way to start the year. This is what they observed.

Thursday, October 27, 2011. The Witches are out. It's become a Halloween tradition to head on down to Gardner Village to Visit the Witches who have come out to play.
