The world through my lens. I did a shoot for Icons Modelling Agency. And it gave me a chance to test my eye for fashion shots and when it came to editing, some fun time playing with colours. I must say the creativity it requires is more than I expected. But it was fun and I thank God for the experience. The world through my lens. So in a bid to experiment on long exposure and its effect on flowing water I tried to catch the first light at fourteen falls. That meant having to sleep at some dingy motel in Ol Donyo…or was it just DONYO? Anyway… So come 6.00 am one fine Monday, I was at the fourteen falls trying as much as possible to remember how to get the best out of the low light. Here are my favorite shots from this trip. Lens 18-55, Shutter; iso100, f/3.5. Took this right before sunrise.

The world through my lens. Nairobi is a beautiful city and happens to be where i live and work now. I just love what the big bad city looks in the night, calm and docile, flashing lights making her look like she is blushing under the glow of the moon or the light drizzles of rain from time time.
