Sandwiched in between 13-hour shifts at the hospital on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, I made it once again to the Metropolitan Opera to hear Tchaikowsky’s. Life or something like it. When I grow up. What do you want to be when you grow up? Paleontologist- I liked dinosaurs from a very young age, my favorite was the brontosaurus. Architect- my friend Amy and I liked to make elaborate floor plans in 5th grade, my future house had a master suite with a sitting room which was separated by floor-to-ceiling aquariums. F-15 Eagle fighter pilot- this dream died early when I learned you have to have 20/20 unaided vision, it was soon replaced. Peace Corps aid worker.
