Monday, June 17, 2013. Kimberly had her second chorus concert of the year and did a fantastic job! She is definitely following in her sister's musical footsteps.. Her cousins Nicole and Paige also sang in they concert. We celebrated Spring birthdays (Samantha, Lauren, Paige, Nicole, and Austin) with the Ossege family. Aren't the pinwheel decorations so cute! Who doesn't love a good game of cards, all the kids were learning to play poker. A drenched Austin :-). Ms Bibb putting on his graduation cap.

Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Randy got to attend the Reds last post-season game; too bad they lost :-(. Austin had a fun afternoon with Daddy and his best bud Brody. They played football, went on a hike in the woods, and played with trucks in the dirt. Thank goodness Randy was home, I am not so good at keeping little boys busy. I am much better with a little group of girls.nail polish, barbies, arts and crafts.. Like making ghost jello with Kimberly in the kitchen! Fall Break was the BEST this year!

http://ossegefamily.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Who says breakfast always has to be the same old boring stuff every morning? He surprised the kids with rainbow/tye-dye waffles for breakfast one weekend. They loved watching him make them and deciding which color tasted the best :-). This is Kimberly's interpretation of the Great Sphinx in Egypt using wooden blocks. Thanks to our B-I-L's for a great and effective shortcut! The girls' new room looking FABULOUS! We rearranged the furniture to help give a new feel and ended up c...

Sunday, December 15, 2013. Picture from Santa House this year, they are so adorable! By now, most of you have already heard or seen, but if you missed it. Lexus went hunting with Randy and was trying to shoot a deer. The scope of the gun kicked back into her forehead, requiring 4 stitches. They came out a week later and it is healing nicely. She was a real trooper through out the whole thing and unfortunately she didn't get the deer :-(. I LOVE this picture! Hunting season was quick this fall! Pictures f...

http://ossegefamily.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. Back in November, the BEST sister in the whole wide world got tickets for my husband and I to join her at an Allen Jackson! It was a fantastic show and we got to meet the opening act Jana Kremer! What a fun date night! This is a cake I made for my friend Katie for her MIL's surprise 60th birthday. I LOVE finding my children doing sweet things like reading stories together at bedtime. Writing letters to Santa. Some of the kids favorite elf scenes. What a wild ride it has been!

http://ljfranzen.blogspot.com/2009/10/gambling-and-gatlinburg.html
Sunday, October 25, 2009. We had a nice fall getaway while the polyurethane dried on the floors. Started with a visit to Erin with dinner and ice cream. Saw her home and met some of her crew. Then hit Keenland for the first few races. Maura studied the program and picked a few winners. She of course used Great Grandma's method of $2 on the 2nd horse on the 2nd race. Live it up in the last few days of not crawling.it becomes so crazy after that! I cant keep up! October 27, 2009 at 6:31 AM.

Franzen Family: June 2009
http://ljfranzen.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 13, 2009. Wow - never new how stupid adults could look until I watched people at Portrait Innovations trying to get their kids to smile (ourselves totally included). Dancing around behind the photographer and making goofy noises. And that was just Jeff. However, it all worked out well. One poopy diaper and 2 outfits (because of spit up) later we narrowed down 60 pictures. Can't figure how to flip this one. Thursday, June 4, 2009. At least it wasn't prom :-). Franzen Family: Welcome Mitchell Joseph!
http://ljfranzen.blogspot.com/2010/02/welcome-mitchell-joseph.html
Sunday, February 14, 2010. Mitchell Joseph Franzen was born January 28th 2010 at 10:04pm. After a long night/day of contractions, walking the halls and an epidural with a boost he made his appearance! He weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 20.25 inches long. She also seems to come up with something new to add to her repertoire of tricks so she wasn't outdone by the birth of her brother. It has been interesting so far with 2 kids but we are happy that we can utilize the man on man defense especially at bed time!
