In October 2011 I travelled without my husband, for the first time, to attend a conference in Melbourne. I had a friend accompany me as my “carer” and fellow conference attendee. This would be my first “adventure” as a disabled person. Er before in his brand-new taxi.

It did take a while to get in to the story as there were all these mothers to remember and which children belonged to them. I found it confusing for a while. The story had a very good ending.
