Sunday, October 26, 2008. We had a great time carving pumpkins even if it ended up being more of a competition for the adults than anything else. I think we were able to convince the kids that they actually had something to do with the finished products! Saturday, October 25, 2008. Baby Spencer (continued-I'm terrible at this blogging stuff). Tuesday, September 30, 2008. My New House and My Garden. I love this room! It's really light because there are so many windows. For the grandkids, this is the "jump in the furniture room" because the adults are usually in the TV room! Here's the kitchen. The countertops were in pretty bad condition when we moved in (white tile), so we had granite put in. We also had to replace all of the appliances and the sink. Now it's just like new and ready for our weekly Sunday dinners with the family!

Sunday, April 11, 2010. Sweet Ada- Our Ninth! It seems that life is so crazy that I only update my blog when we add another grandchild to the fold! A great reason to blog though! Our sweet Ada was born on April 7 and she was 7 lbs. 6 oz. We all adore her, of course! Katie was a trooper and I feel so lucky that I was able to be present for the birth of another one of my beautiful grandchildren! Owen and Sam love to "hold" and kiss their new sister.
