What did you want to be growing up? As a kid I dreamed of being a secret agent or some sort of extreme sports athlete. But I never really had a proper “career” that I aspired to. What did you want to be growing up? JC: Who or what is inspiring you at the moment? SC: I’m really inspired by where I live at the moment. I moved a little outside of the city with access to the woods and trails where I can get lost with headphones while running and cycling. Its similar to where I grew up in Scotland, in a way. JONATHAN CHERRY: What got you started with photography? JC: Any emerging artists inspiring you at the moment? Is the photographer that really made me go “Wow” what an amazing art form. Her pictures tell a story and they’re very moving. She took a lot of pictures of Marilyn Monroe and they’re so beautiful and you really get why people were so captivated by her. I also love Diane Arbus. JC: Whats your current project all about? CM: My current project is just trying to get myself known as a photographer!

What did you want to be growing up? Like all kids, I wanted to be an astronaut or the commander of a spaceship of some sort. I wanted to go in space. I still do. JC: Who or what is inspiring you at the moment? AK: That’s always an interesting question… I think I find inspiration in lots of different things. It can be ranging from the work of Irving Penn. To some random Instagram account I follow. Movies, music, science. Art. But mostly I find most of my inspiration in my subjects. 2 years ago (54 notes).
