Sunday, January 27, 2013. I am honored to begin 2013 as the new Executive Director of Rosehedge/Multifaith Works. Since I started on January 2nd, I have been meeting with staff, board, volunteers, residents, and stakeholders to learn more about the community we serve and to hear your thoughts and hopes for the future of this vital organization. We need your help more than ever as we move forward. I am asking you to make a donation of $100. Or any amount that is meaningful and comfortable for you today.

Rosehedge/Multifaith Works Blog: Until There's a Cure

http://multifaithblog.blogspot.com/2012/09/until-theres-cure.html

Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Until There's a Cure. I think the what really brought me to this cause is that HIV/AIDS often affects the most marginalized people who are then further stigmatized by their disease. It was the marginalization, stigma, and social aspect of the disease that drew me to the cause. There are a lot of sick people out there but for some reason the ones with AIDS are controversial. That's why I choose to support this cause. Volunteer - Rosehedge/Multifaith Works. Email him now for yo...

Rosehedge/Multifaith Works Blog: May 2011

http://multifaithblog.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 27, 2011. Yesterday I had the honor of meeting our CareTeam partner for the first time. Since our CareTeam is brand new, I was the first one to meet him. I was a bit nervous, because I knew there might be language difficulties, and I wanted him to feel the love and support that our whole team has for him. The time was delightful! This holiday season, the staff were invited to sign holiday cards for the residents. In true form, Steve decided to write notes in the cards instead of a signature. He wrote each individual resident a short, food-related note that illustrated the humor and relationship he has co-created with them. I had no idea t...

Rosehedge/Multifaith Works Blog: July 2011

http://multifaithblog.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Overflowing with Sunshine and Hugs. A sunny weekend in July, Rosehedge/Multifaith Works hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation picnic. Beyond tasty donations from Franz Bakery and Borracchini's Bakery, Mother Nature finally came through with a piece of summer to brighten everyone's smile. The parking lot was over-flowing with sunshine, hugs, some lively music, and a host of Volunteers, Clients, and Staff. Posted by Rosehedge/Multifaith Works at 7:46 PM. Wednesday, July 20, 2011.

Multi-Faith Action Coalition

What more can we do to lift people out of poverty? That was the question faith leaders asked in the winter of 2014 when the Multi-faith ACTION Coalition was formed. Over 200 people came together from different congregations that were feeding the hungry, providing shelter to the homeless and offering tutoring for the underserved, and wanted to advocate for change. The Multi-faith ACTION Coalition represents A. All advocacy is to address the root causes of poverty though policy change.
