The Objectives of the CSMB. The Center's long-range objectives are to assist in maintaining the United States' position of leadership in the specialty of multiple birth. To accomplish this, the CSMB:. Distributes information on reducing the medical risks and social costs of multiple birth as well as the special problems encountered by the parents and their children. Sponsors scientific conferences on the care of twin children and higher-order multiples. Conducts its own research and scholarship.

Festivals that Celebrate Multiple Birth. Twinsburg, Ohio is the site of the famous annual Twins Days Festival. Held every August since 1976. It's the world's largest gathering of twins. The French Twins Day Festival. Began in 1994, and is attended each year by about 1,000 sets of twins. The International Twins Association.
