Mumblings of an Old Man. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. So the x-rays were a snap. 30 minutes' walk to the lab, pics, and walk back. Time to snag a coffee on the way back in. The arm sure is hurting, though. Not good. Though the painkiller/ice regimen is helping. So a lot of cute acts come out of Japan, but for my money, this is perhaps the coolest. Thursday, 29 March 2018. Things I have learnt from doing a bargello quilt workshop. I sew in my slippers so when I tried to sew at the village hall (we took our machines with us) it felt like I had weights on my feet. Note to self - take slippers with you next time! No matter how careful you are, you will stitch a fabric strip to the wrong side of another strip at some point.
