The response we had from our initial research led us to our unique tasting Homemade Shito.Shito quite simply means pepper in the Ga language, the native language of Accra (the capital of Ghana). Shito as a condiment can be used to compliment any dish. In the typical Ghanaian home, shito is eaten with kenkey, fried yam, waakye, hard boiled eggs. Mums and Spice 2013.
