Di's Daily Doings: Less is More - week 83 - colour - brown and pink
http://craftingdi.blogspot.com/2012/09/less-is-more-week-83-colour-brown-and.html
Saturday, September 1, 2012. Less is More - week 83 - colour - brown and pink. Love the brown and pink colour combination chosen for this week's challenge at Less is More. I thought straight away of the cherry blossom tree outside my window which was covered in blossom earlier this year. Sadly, the tree looks a bit sorry for itself after the soggy summer we've just had! My card this week is a brown tree (Memory Box) with tiny pink blossoms (a very old punch) and two birds (supposed to be magpies! Lovely ...

Di's Daily Doings: March 2013
http://craftingdi.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. Upcycled and Pinterest inspired. Just a few recent makes. I've finally worked out how to get photos on to my blog since Blogger decided not to let me use my old and trusted way of doing it through the program which I use for storing all my photos. These two are using Pink Petticoat backgrounds and die cut shapes/letters. The next three are using the front of some notelets I found when I was having a sortout and diecut sentiment labels. Thank you for looking , Diane.

Di's Daily Doings: February 2012
http://craftingdi.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. Less is More week 54 Stripes. The challenge this week at Less is More. Is 'Stripes' and it's One Layer Week! Not my favourite as I'm hopeless at stamping so I decided to play around with letters in Publisher (always my program of choice! So this is a barcode font and I changed each letter to a different colour and printed it out on to a 5inch square card. Simples! No embellishments or fancy bits and that's it. Definitely Clean and Simple methinks. Thank you for looking , Diane.

No longer send out any templates, poems etc. that I may have previously offered in the past, the files were lost when my last computer crashed and I have chosen not to remake any of them them. Gertie's makes and bakes: June 2015
http://gertiesmakesandbakes.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Gertie's makes and bakes. Sunday, 28 June 2015. June's bake of the month. I’m going back to basics for this month’s bake of the month, and what could be more basic than a sponge cake. The traditional two, four method is probably one of the first cake recipes that children (and men.) are taught when they embark on their baking journey. It’s so easy to remember – two eggs and four oz’s of butter, sugar and flour. 1 level tea-spoon of baking powder. 1 lemon, grated. 4 table-spoons of icing sugar. Put the su...

Gertie's makes and bakes: May's bake of the month
http://gertiesmakesandbakes.blogspot.com/2015/05/mays-bake-of-month.html
Gertie's makes and bakes. Friday, 29 May 2015. May's bake of the month. Who doesn’t love bourbon biscuits? These were my favourite (and still are if I’m honest) as a child. I would break the biscuit into two (getting crumbs everywhere much to the annoyance of my mam! And eat the top layer first then the yummy creamy bottom. 2 oz/50g margarine (or softened butter if you prefer). 2 oz/50g caster sugar. 1 tbsp golden syrup. 4oz/110g plain flour, plus a little extra if needed. 189; tsp bicarbonate soda.

http://gertiesmakesandbakes.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Gertie's makes and bakes. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. March’s bake of the month. Opps I nearly did it again! These months are really flying by. Before I know it, Christmas will be here. So what have I got for you this month? How does double chocolate chip cookies sound. They’re really easy to make but incredibly yummy. Or, what about adding some nuts to the cookies. Chopped walnuts, pecans, Brazil, macadamia would work. The possibilities are endless. Just have fun making and eating them. 2 tbsp golden syrup.
