We're off to start our new year in Second Grade! We will be reflecting often about what we've done during the day or what we've learned! Monday, December 7, 2009. December - Stone Soup. Hello Long time, no see! Our play has taken control of us! We hit the floor running in the morning and sing Stone Soup songs all day long! We hope to do a better job of keeping reflecting at the end of the day AFTER Stone Soup is over! It's hectic in Munchkinland - more soon, Mrs. S. and the Munchers. Tuesday, November 10.

Thursday, October 8, 2009. Today we learned how to decorate a warrior shield. We learned that Sitting Bull was a Plains Indian Chief. We found that Indians told their stories by mouth or by drawing symbols. In math we learned about "turn around" facts. Like.5 4=9 and 4 5=9!
