Mr Watras does not like the definition that Hayley Iben gives because it does not say that a woodwind has a complex airstream. One of the first ancestors of the English horn was the Shawm. The English horn was not originally created in England, it was created by the Hotteterre. The English horn is longer than the Oboe and makes a deeper sound and lower pitched than the Oboe. I liek this websitee becuase i think it very intresting and its a very good website becuase its not all just aboutinstrumants it has a glossary and stuff like that so if you need help with a word u can look it up.
