Murder is Everywhere: My favorite movie
http://murderiseverywhere.blogspot.com/2015/08/my-favorite-movie.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. By Jorn Lier Horst, Norway. I often spend late summer evenings with a good movie. As a writer, and playwright, I sometimes get asked what is my favorite book or favorite movie. My favorite book vary slightly from time to time, but when it comes to film, I usually mentions Frank Darabont's masterpiece " The Shawshank Redemption. Stephen King is also behind another of my favorites. " Stand by me. As already said, the film is based on a story by Stephen King, but despite that the ...

Our Tim Hallinan and publisher Bronwen Hruska. Even more of the Crime Line.
Murder is Everywhere: I've no idea what to make of this!

Thursday, August 6, 2015. I've no idea what to make of this! A few weeks ago as I was browsing the web, probably distracting myself from the task of finishing Kubu #5, I came across a website that showed a series of photographs of amazing stone structures, mainly circular, but also with roads. So let me show you a lot of photographs, which I have taken from a couple of sources, mainly Michael Tellinger's website (http:/ www.michaeltellinger.com/index.php). This gives one a sense of the size and height.
Murder is Everywhere: February 2015
http://murderiseverywhere.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. Today is the final day for European Parliaments—including Greece’s—to approve the four-month extension deal (deferring predicted financial Armageddon) entered into between Greece and the Eurogroup. If you don’t know what I’m talking about don’t worry. No one does. You see, even the Greek party in power responsible for negotiating the deal is having trouble explaining what’s going on to its own party members. He also said Greece’s “coffers are empty,” and tha...Germany's ZDF "...
Murder is Everywhere: A tragedy in the making.
http://murderiseverywhere.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-tragedy-in-making.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. A tragedy in the making. On 22nd December 2014 there was a terrible incident in Glasgow city centre when a bin lorry went out of control and killed six people. Any of you who have visited Scotland and arrived in Glasgow at Queen Street Rail Station on the north side of George Sq will have walked past the hotel where the bin lorry finally came to rest. The whole incident took less than 20 seconds, nobody had time to react. Nobody blamed the driver, it was made very clear on social ...

The book and some of the history behind it. Saturday, August 11, 2012. The real Imang as a young woman. This is my mother in law, Maxima Reynaldo, from a photo taken in the 1950s. The hours were long and the conditions were brutal. Not mentioned in The Yellow Bar. August 21, 2012 at 4:01 PM. December 15, 2014 at 5:51 AM. Sites in...

Murder is Everywhere
Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Happy Birthday Monsieur Ibrahim. Today would be the 86th birthday of Omar Sharif - as Google might be telling you. He was born of Syrian-Lebanese parents in Egypt, studied economics, became a world famous actor and was a world class bridge player, too. You might remember him in Lawrence of Arabia, Dr. Zhivago and even a Pink Panther movie with Peter Sellers. I remember him for a small art house French film called Monsieur Ibrahim set in Paris. Happy Birthday Monsieur Ibrahim!
