We've been spending a lot of time chillaxing at home and playing at the park gearing up for the holidays and the colder weather up north. We can't wait to see our family and friends so soon! One new fun development of the recent weeks is that John is starting to fill in the "blanks" when we read his favorite books. For example, in "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," on the second page - "One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up and." John chimes in with "POP"! Some photos from the past couple of weeks.

75 Months - Yehaw Holidays! It's been nearly a month since our last post, and we have been busy! In the past month John. Celebrated his first St. Patrick's Day. Hopped to his first (creepy) Easter Bunny photo session - wearing an outfit that his Big cousin Billy, Uncle John, Uncle Will, and Dad all wore - to celebrate Easter with the Geiselmann Clan. Flew to Austin, TX to kick it with Granny, Great Uncle Tom, and Great Aunt Mary Lea, while Mama Dad went to Lindsay and Jason's wedding. And (dare we say it?

WITH LOVE FROM THE FANTASTIC, MR. FOX! October - Fallin' into 14 Months. This month we welcomed visitors from Boston and San Fransisco! The Wellesley boys (Tim, Casey, Drew and KevA), came to hang and though John was, at first, a little wary (who wouldn't be? To all of our family and friends in the Northeast - please be safe with Hurricane Sandy, we heard she's feisty! Maybe Mary's just letting us know she's having a party up there! This week John added a few more words to his repertoire. "appie" for apple(sauce), "truh" for truck and, "bappy" for ball. In addition he seems to be starting to use Mama and Dada with more intention. We took him to a soccer field over the weekend and found some soccer balls left behind. Somehow, John knew how to dribble the ball. Considering the athletic ability of both his parents, we were shocked. Some photos from the week. It went a little something like this (we'll leave the captions up to you).

25 Weeks - Corbett Eats! It was a little thick, maybe? But an overall successful first try. 23 Weeks - Christmas Prep. This week was alllll about getting ready for Christmas! We decked the halls, and strolled the streets. Our first Christmas on Denton Road is shaping up to be one of the best yet! John shared with us that he (apparently) knows how to perform a mean Irish stepdance! The week in photos:. John helping prep the gifts for St John's Christmas Wishes! 22 Weeks - Thanksgiving. Nemo - the Blizzard of 2013 - arrived just two weeks after our move from Charlotte to Boston, bringing with it nearly two feet of snow. John saw some snow from the window at Christmas, but this was his first time playing in it. At first, he was terrified: when we brought a bowl of snow inside, he touched it, shouted "HOT! And started crying. The next day we took him outside, and as you'll see in the photos below he warmed up to it, but still preferred to keep his hands in his new snowsuit.

The weather went quickly from 70 degrees one day, to snowing the next! Corbett is 5 months old - He is a really smiley guy and changing so much, but still very chill. He rolled (mostly) over once, and is gaining strength and personality. I think we have a big month ahead of us! The week in photos:. 20 Weeks - Road Trip!
